Product Details
Late antique ring brooch after an original from Amiens, France
Here is an example of a practical brooch, worn by a common soldier. The latin inscription Utere Felix should protect the wearer of the brooch.
These brooches date from the second half of the 3rd century and are worn until
the beginning of the 4th century, they probably come from the Panonian area and were also often found in the west of the Roman Empire.
Version made of brass (like the originals, the bronze would be wrong, bronze was never used for decorative items in antiquity) and also available with silver plating.
8,7cm, authentique enamel
